Day 01: Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Gangtok

Meet and Greet on arrival at Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri. Our office representative welcomes you and briefs you the tour. Transfer to Gangtok, it is one of the most magnificent hill Station in the world. Evening free for own activities. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake

Morning start for a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft), 32kms from Gangtok City. The lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Gangtok – Lachung

Today morning enjoy the breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the hotel. Today we drive to Lachung, situated at a height of 8610 feet. (Timings will depend on the issuance of Permit)It is a long drive of around 200 kms that takes 6-7 hours to reach. It’s a beautiful drive and we pass through Phodong, Mangan, Singik Chungthang & Maltim. On arrival Check in into the hotel, Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Lachung Excursion to Yumthang Valley

Morning breakfast and proceed for a visit to Yumthang Valley, famous for a variety of blooming Rhododendrons. Situated at a height of 11800 feet, Yumthang is the grazing ground of yaks in summer and playground of yetis in winter. After enjoying in this beautiful valley, we start our return journey. On the way back, visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Lachung – Gangtok

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for Gangtok. (150 kms, approx 5-6 hours drive) En route we take stops at Singhik and Mangan. If it is clear weather, you may see Khangchendzonga Range. Take majestic views of numerous snow clad mountain peaks being Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu on a clear sky day. If time permits, we also visit Phodong Monastery on the way. On arrival Check in into the hotel, Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok – Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, it is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Rest of the day free for own activities walk to The Mall and cherish the ambience. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational, rope ride ticket to be paid guest directly). Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Darjeeling – Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri

This day is your departure day as per the flight and train schedule timing will be given by our office representative. Tour ends with sweet memories and you will cherish the greenery of the Monsoon in the Hills.
